Wineaway holds regular tastings, masterclasses and dinners where wine lovers of all levels, from passionate beginner to seasoned wine collector, meet to share and experience some of the most exciting wines of Australia and the world. We have the winemakers from the best wineries presenting their wines along with Brisbane’s finest chefs to match outstanding dishes to outstanding wines.

| The tasting will be focused on the Jacob's Creek range of Rieslings and Reds, the varieties which make for great cellaring, and which ultimately sealed Orlando's reputation as a producer of iconic Australian wines over the past two decades. Brent Farrell (Owner/Chef of Brent’s) will again serve up his sumptuous fare and Chris Morrison, Pernod Ricard’s National Wine Ambassador, will join me to present the wines. | Frankland Estate & Ngeringa Wine Dinner | ||
| Our final wine dinner for 2009 will be a double act featuring Frankland Estate from Margaret River and Ngeringa from Adelaide Hills. We’ve had the pleasure of sampling past vintages of the Frankland Estate range in recent weeks and are incredulous as to why these wines are not on more collectors radars. Splitting Frankland Estates whites and reds, Erinn Klein will showcase his range of French inspired wines from his emerging Adelaide Hills winery Ngeringa. With plenty of wine to be enjoyed it shall be a jolly way to end 2009! | ||

| Spanish Armada - Wine Dinner | ||
| There has been a buzz of late surrounding the high quality of European imports reaching our shores, and in particular the latest vintages of the Spanish Tempranillo’s and Garnacha’s. We've signed up Australia’s largest importer of Spanish wines Scott Wasley, to come to town with the best wines he can muster. Scott’s right hand man Dougie Graham will be hosting the night barely days before he heads to Spain for another, and no doubt painful, tour of duty. We look forward to sharing the night with you! | ||

| We’d like you all to join us for this fantastic event featuring mini verticals of all three of Alec’s stellar wines including current releases and well aged back vintages. Alec will be presenting the wines and whilst I have yet to meet him personally, our regular communication over the past two years, combined with his former football nickname ‘Kookaburra’ (which was earned from his incessant talking on the field), tells me that this will be one of our most entertaining events this year. | ||

| We hope you can join us for an exclusive evening with renowned Felton Road winemaker Blair Walter. Felton Road has long been recognised as one of New Zealand's greatest exponents of Pinot Noir and indeed a benchmark for all Pinot makers in the southern hemisphere. The tasting includes present vintages of many of the wines however the focus will be on Pinot Noir, including the rare and very precious Block 3 Pinot. | ||
