Tasting Notes

Burghound - Don't Miss! There is only a whiff of herbal character (sometimes called the "green meanies") that is likely to disappear altogether with time as the spice-inflected secondary fruit is progressively taking center stage. I like both the vibrancy and the detail to the delicious and lightly mineral-infused middle weight flavors that possess very good complexity on the lingering finish where the supporting tannins are largely, if not completely, resolved. This is now drinking well though it should continue to do so for at least another decade. In sum, this is a quality 2004. Tasted April 2018. Allen Meadows - Burghound
