Tasting Notes

90% Derwent Valley and 10% Tamar Valley. Take your time with this one: it’s pretty, and pretty shy. Fresh raspberry, thyme, lavender and honey, spice and ash, neoprene, blackcurrant and violet. Light in body, again fresh raspberry and cranberry crunch, sappy and perfumed, brick dust tannin, glassy acidity, with a fragrant and pretty red fruited finish of excellent length. So delicate and bony, but very lovely. The devil is in the detail, as it were. Well outside the mainstream, but so worthy. And different. Tasted Feb 2021. Gary Walsh - Winefront
