Tasting Notes

Deeply coloured. A superb cabernet that will be calling the shots for decades to come. Its richness is spectacular because it parallels the wine's power. Endless peaks of supple blackcurrant and cassis make light of the varietal tannins that can dog cabernet. The price rendered me speechless. Tasted August 2020. James Halliday.

Wide, open fermenters and extended skin contact adds intensity and depth to the berry, earthy characters. Beautifully balanced with new French oak. The wine should age wonderfully for 20 years plus (and more!). Winery Tasting Note
