Tasting Notes

Lots of mulch-like aromatics and yet it’s pretty with cherry-plummed fruit fragrance too. The palate then is lighter than you might expect – particularly for a Central Otago pinot – with notes of rhubarb and cherries and sap. The finish lingers, the acid bites. I like it but you have to be ‘into’ the lighter, more acidic style of pinot. Campbell Mattinson - Winefront
