Tasting Notes

The 2015 Chambolle Musigny les Athets has a clean and precise bouquet with blackberry and incense aromas that remain quite tight in the glass, possibly because of the 35% new oak keeping a tight rein on things. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely tart red cherry and strawberry opening, very well balanced with a precise and detailed finish with plenty of freshness. This is a delicious Chambolle-Musigny from Tardy. Neal Martin
