Tasting Notes

Deep red/purple colour. The first aroma of toasty oak, and lots of it, the palate very rich and dense, fleshy and full-bodied. The tannins are abundant and very supple; the mid-palate flooded with chocolate, fruitcake, raspberry and mocha flavours together with graphite, tar and Rhône-like spices. A riotously opulent shiraz and very Eden Valley. Huon Hooke
