Tasting Notes

Deep, black olives rolled in dried herb, blackberry, maybe raspberry, medium to full-bodied, thick ropes of tannin pull it surely through the mouth, there’s a bright almost ‘mineral’ acidity, that dried herb perfume really punctuates the wine, ironstone, low oak impact, a broad charismatic finish rounds it out. Love this wine. It’s one of the best releases of Simpatico I can recall. Gary Walsh
