Tasting Notes

Very deep, dark, dense red/purple colour. The bouquet is impressively intense and cabernet-authentic while also complex, profound and multi-faceted. The oak is not obvious, indeed, it is very subtle. The wine is tremendously powerful, deep, full-bodied and yet beautifully poised, with supple tannins and great charm. It's a magical combination of complex good-wine character and unmistakeable varietal cues. A stand-out. (Unusually, it's almost 10% Block 42, and 81% Barossa fruit.)
