Tasting Notes

The Estates wines are relaxed of composure; nothing to hard, nothing to forced. The result is an effortless flow of gentle flavours conferred by optimally ripe fruit. Golden yellow apple, quince and a whiff of marzipan team along rails of crunchy acidity and a waft of phenolics that tone, rather than force. The finish is lithe and peppery, reminiscent of good Austrian expressions. Very good ! Very long ! Ned Goodwin for James Halliday
