Tasting Notes

Red and maybe some black fruit, but the money’s firmly on red this vintage. Aniseed, tar, earth and chocolate but so bright! It’s medium to full bodied with lively cherry and red berry flavour, a slinky set of graphite-like tannin and a crisp long finish. Clean. Buoyant. Speaks of Cabernet, the Barossa and Rockford. Suffice to say, it even tickled and warmed the heart of a committed Bordeaux drinker. Tasted November 2012. Wine Front - Gary Walsh
