Tasting Notes

Clones MV6 and 115, 8 days cold soak, whole berries wild-fermented, 3 days post-ferment maceration, matured in French oak (24% new) for 18 months. Vivid purple-crimson, attesting to the very low yield; a seriously good pinot, full of gorgeous red fruits and no sign of excessive extract. There are some fine oak tannins that simply underwrite the fruit and length of the palate.
