Perched majestically on the storied Hill of Corton, this Grand Cru is a commanding testament to a legendary limestone terroir, brought to life through Arnaud Baillot’s precision-driven, minimal-intervention winemaking. The challenging 2021 Burgundian growing season—marked by a cool, damp spring that severely restricted yields—ultimately yielded a rare silver lining, preserving a striking natural acidity and pristine clarity in the fruit.

In the glass, the wine radiates with a pale gold hue and brilliant clarity. The bouquet is immediately captivating, presenting a detailed and lifted array of tree fruits, featuring crisp pear, orange zest, and delicate notes of pineapple and honeysuckle.

On the palate, a refined and beautifully balanced weight reveals a chalky minerality and an underlying current of chiselled acidity. Subtle, highly integrated layers of oak barrel toast, cloves, and hazelnut add dramatic textural complexity to a sweet mid-palate. Jasper Morris celebrates its exquisite precision and harmony, admiring the "very fine nose - lifted - detailed. Elegant. Ripeness is spot on. Very refined." before concluding with a long, pristine finish.
