After more than two decades on Abbotsford Road, Wineaway moved to its current premises on Montpelier Road in Bowen Hills, Brisbane, in 2020. Just 500 metres from the Gasworks precinct, the space was designed to bring together the different sides of Wineaway under one roof, from fine wine retail and private wine storage to tastings, events and hospitality.
On arrival, guests enter our reception and tasting area, where the handcrafted Wall of Fame showcases wines we admire, recent discoveries and enduring favourites. The adjoining tasting bar and lounge provides an intimate setting for selected tastings, masterclasses and informal wine events.
Beyond the reception is our fine wine showroom cellar, home to a carefully curated collection from many of the world’s leading wine regions and producers, including rare back vintages and limited releases. Behind it sits our temperature and humidity-controlled private wine storage facility, housing more than 200,000 bottles on behalf of collectors across Australia and internationally.
Upstairs, our private tasting and function room accommodates up to 16 seated guests. Designed for intimate wine experiences, the space also features a fully appointed kitchen with NEFF appliances, allowing food and wine to come together for private tastings, dinners and special events.
