Tasting Notes

‘Offered Pre-Arrival. Due late May’

The Clos de Chateau is an impressive 8 hectare monopole that is located in front of the Chateau , over 1/3 of the vineyard is within the Meursault appellation but they choose to keep this plot whole so therefore it reverts to Bourgogne classification. The wine is vinified in 25% new oak and the balance in 2 & 3 year old barrels for 12 months on fine lees.

“Mid yellow , not much to the nose with a very pleasing well filled mid palate , crisp & fresh & long . An exemplary white burgundy -, refreshing too.” – 4 Stars 88 Jasper Morris MW
