Tasting Notes

Violet and warm bricks- classic HB character- lead pencil and shavings, slight licorice perfume, cherries macerated, pinch of capsicum. Medium bodied, crisp acidity, redcurrant and blackcurrant, light grip of tannin, suffused with sweet herbs and a little delicious decay. Lovely style. Acid on cleans up on the finish. Was 95 or 96 points. Maybe 95+ is about right, as there's a lot of suave charm left to deliver.
