The 2025 Farr Rising Saignée Rosé is a sophisticated, high-intent expression of Pinot Noir that eschews the standard "summer sipper" mold for a wine of serious textural depth and structural complexity. Using the saignée ("to bleed") technique, free-run juice is drawn after minimal skin contact, followed by natural barrel fermentation and full malolactic conversion in seasoned French oak for 10 months. The result is a luminous salmon-pink wine defined by a silky, "almond creaminess" and a vibrant "blood orange tang".

Aromas of wild strawberry, hibiscus, and roses are layered with a sophisticated, marzipan-like richness and a fine, powdery phenolic grip.

Leading critic Gary Walsh of The Wine Front officially awarded this vintage 95 points, describing it as "a bolder style in a way, but has complexity and character to burn. Delightful. A rosé made with intent."
