Dense, deep, red/purple colour. The aroma is of latent dark fruits, well-integrated oak and a hint of violets. The palate is chewy, concentrated, quite tannic and the wine finishes with density, flesh and drive. It's still in its shell and needs time. A tight, powerful cabernet that needs time and shows great promise. Huon Hooke
