Tasting Notes

Yet to be released and properly reviewed, this exceptional wine comes from a 4-acre site near Avoca in the Pyrenees, already establishing it as the finest shiraz yet from this region. With a depth of perfume, core of fruit, exemplary use of oak and a structure that takes time to reveal its strength, texture and balance, this is one of the finest Australian shirazes made with Rhône Valley inspiration. It’s medium to fullish in weight, deeply fruited but savoury to the core and requires significant breathing if opened within the next five years. Drink 2033-2041+ 98pts, Jeremy Oliver
