Tasting Notes

Ruby red. A fragrant bouquet emanates from the glass of violets and iris, dark cherry and blueberry fruit, brick dust and a hint of rusty nail. In the mouth the wine is concentrated and focussed, tautly structured with the fruit supported by a quite formidable layer of ripe tannin before drawing to a lengthy conclusion. There is density and depth here, an excellent if robust iteration of Monvigliero. Drink 2028 to 2048. – 95pts, Stephen Blandford for The Real Review
