Tasting Notes

From vines planted in 1992, which is certainly old by Central Otago standards. Taut, high-energy chardonnay with pronounced oyster-shell and mineral characters, lime blossom, ginger and nutty yeast lees flavours. Should develop well with bottle age. Tasted Jan 2021. Bob Campbell

Rich peach and lemon-curd aromas here, with strong fruit focus, some oak spice and light nougat notes. The palate has a composed, softly fleshy and gently creamy feel with banana and vanilla-laced pear flavors. Super composed. Drink now. Screw cap. Tasted December 2020. 93pts James Suckling
