A very good producer here, though not currently imported. They’re part of the Burlotto family, and hold vineyards in the excellent Massara cru, and also take in some grapes from Monvigliero. The 2019 Massara Massara Barolo is outstanding!

Strawberry and white pepper, subtle meaty complexity too. Light in body, fresh and lively, fine dusty tannin and excellent length. I love this wine; it’s succulent and unforced and so typical. Yum. 94 points - Gary Walsh for The Wine Front.
