Tasting Notes

This is plain gorgeous. Many may question shiraz's place in the Vale in the face of growing traction with grenache. Yet here lies ample evidence of why there is plenty to get excited about. Sumptuous aromas of smoked meats, cloves, iodine, boysenberries and a potpourri of dried purple flowers. The oak is well integrated into the fruit and other flavors, releasing the greater whole into an endless finish. Thoroughly impressive. Drinkable now, but best from 2027. 97pts. Drink 2027-2036+. Ned Goodwin MW for James Suckling.
