Tasting Notes

Sweet, spicy wood scents to start – cedar and sandalwood, touch of leather, whiff of wet stone. Powerful fruit character, driving and firm, shows spice in tannin and a frame of wood that bright, red and black fruit flavours hang off. Feels very architectural, complex and yet elegant. Finishes with a juiciness off the back of a deep concentration of flavour. Not over the top, a restraint here. So long to go too. Excellent. Mike Bennie - Winefront
