Appearance is still youthful and deep; the mousse present but not obtrusive. Roasting-pan and toasty developing aromas, background licorice and fruitcake. The wine fills the mouth with intensity and richness, lingering very long. Impeccable balance of sweetness, tannin, fruit and savoury flavours. A magnificent wine, which will seemingly go on being great for many years, especially under the crown seal. Huon Hooke
