The 2024 growing season in the Yarra Valley was marked by a compressed, early harvest following a humid start to summer, ultimately yielding fruit of exceptional concentration and crystalline purity. This Chardonnay is a masterclass in restrained power, appearing in the glass with a bright, youthful yellow hue and a sophisticated aromatic profile of fresh green apple.

The palate is focused and linear, showing lemon citrus, green apple and a subtle saline edge, while a fine-boned structure and delicate chalky grip provide quiet texture. The finish is long and precise, with a persistent mineral line and excellent clarity.

Huon Hooke describes it as a "very smart Chardonnay with a lot of class," noting how time in the glass coaxes out deeper nuances of toasty nuts. Supported by a spine of vibrant acidity, the wine displays a crystalline purity that exemplifies the Yarra Yering pedigree for world-class whites.
