Tasting Notes

This dessert wine is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Traminer and Sauvignon Blanc. The 2013 Vendemmia Tardiva di S. Lucia (packaged in a 375-milliliter bottle) opens to sweet aromas of raisin, dried apricot and dried apple skin. My sample tasted at the winery showed a hint of oxidation (nothing too bad) because the bottle had been opened before my arrival. The mouthfeel is syrupy and rich. 93pts. Drink 2018-2030.
