Sourced from a 2.8-hectare village parcel positioned near the northern edge of the Côte de Beaune, this cuvée highlights the estate's recent expansion into the accessible terroirs of Ladoix. The warm, highly concentrated 2020 growing season yielded small, perfectly ripe berries that were fully destemmed and aged for 18 months in French oak casks, with one-third composed of new wood.

Presenting a brilliant light ruby and purple complexion in the glass, the nose opens with great freshness, offering notes of blackcurrant, fresh redcurrants, and sliced strawberries offset by hints of vanilla.

On the palate, the architecture is notably soft and medium-bodied, delivering a velvety texture balanced flawlessly by well-integrated tannins and a bright, harmonious acidity. Renowned Burgundy authority Allen Meadows accents this unique wood integration, observing that "a discreet but perceptible dollop of wood" introduces the flavors, which carry onto a satisfyingly long, fruit-persistent finish.
