Hailing from a historically dry Tasmanian summer that yielded incredibly clean and concentrated fruit, this flagship single-vineyard cuvée represents the pinnacle selection of the Chatto family vineyard in the cool-climate Huon Valley.

In the glass, it displays a deep, vibrantly youthful purple hue.

The aromatic profile initially presents a striking waft of smoky reduction that evolves beautifully to reveal dense black cherries, blood orange zest, and intricate undertones of exotic spice and dried autumn herbs.

On the palate, the wine asserts serious weight, immense concentration, and a sumptuous texture, driven by deep, ripe cherry fruit flavours. Everything is flawlessly held together by a tight backing of fine, dry tannins and crystalline natural acidity. It transitions seamlessly into an extraordinarily long, complex finish. In his commanding 98-point assessment, lead critic Huon Hooke lauded it as "an extraordinary pinot of serious weight, depth, perfume and structure."
