Grown on an unusual geological site for Watervale featuring thin red loam over limestone and slate bedrock, this certified organic and biodynamic bottling masterfully conquered the extremely dry, frost-impacted 2025 season. The pristine fruit was picked under oasis-like vineyard conditions, generating a wine of crystalline brilliance and striking focus.

Intensely aromatic, it leaps from the glass with citrus oil, lemon-lime leaf, green apple, and a delicate hint of wild fennel.

The palate presents a fascinating structural juxtaposition, pairing an upfront juiciness with a thrumming, mineral-backed acidity and a long, chalky texture.

Evaluated in its full youthful vigour, Mike Bennie of the Halliday Wine Companion awarded it 96 points, noting that while it shows tension, "there's an approachability and ease of drinking here" underpinned by pristine brine and talc minerality.
