Deep, dense rich red with a purple tinge. The bouquet is very attractive, complex and spicy, with lots of red and dark fruit aromas, dried herbs and a touch of cool-climate spice not often seen in Armagh. It's very sweet fruited and rich on the tongue, soft in texture and gentle of tannin. Violets, spices, all in fine harmony. A beautiful wine. superbly textured and proportioned. Huon Hooke
