Medium to full red colour with a good purple tinge. The bouquet is reserved and dark, spicy and fragrant, with some of the ginger, mint and bitter Italian herb notes of The Acre, but more discreet and more integrated into the general complexity of the bouquet. The wine is medium to full-bodied and quite powerful, with good concentration, flesh and density and abundant soft, fine-grained tannins and terrific length. A gorgeous, sumptuous pinot. Huon Hooke
