Tasting Notes

As the flagship pinot noir, this lives up to its reputation. It's a whorl of the darkest cherries, covered in baking spices, a fleck of mint and an overlay of savoury inputs, the French oak neatly integrated. It builds on the palate, full bodied but not unwieldy. mouth-filling and generous, with the plushest tannins, ripe and sweet. Very satisfying and approachable now. - Jane Faulkner for James Halliday's Wine Companion
