Tasting Notes

A sweet, spicy perfume of liqueur cherry chocolates, rose petals and briar reveals complex undertones of caramel, exotic spices and a faint meatiness. It's sumptuous and velvet-like, offering a deep, unctuous palate steeped in dark, juicy flavours of cherries and plums, framed by smooth, fine tannins. It's a baby of a wine, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if it demanded a score upgrade once it has been longer in the bottle. Jeremy Oliver
