This landmark vintage represents a pinnacle of the Coldstream estate’s history, flourishing during a growing season that offered record-breaking January warmth to perfectly ripen all five classic Bordeaux varieties.

Displaying a remarkably vibrant and concentrated hue, the 2019 Quintet opens with a sophisticated bouquet of cassis, blue fruits, and dark mulberries, delicately accented by notes of violets, forest wood, and a signature leafy freshness.

The medium-bodied palate is a study in precision, where pristine dark fruit purity is seamlessly woven into a framework of ultra-fine, velvety tannins and vital acidity that provides effortless energy.

According to the James Suckling review, which awarded this release a perfect score, it is "a Yarra Valley First Growth" that matches the elegance and polish of the world’s finest clarets.
