Deep-ish colour, red-purple, with a ripe, concentrated if marginally dry red-ish plum and earth aroma, the palate medium-full bodied and dense, with ample tannins and again a slight lack of pinot character. A little age could help it along: it certainly has the power and structure to age and seems certain to develop well in ther bottle. It's just a pup today. Huon Hooke
