Tasting Notes

Medium to full brassy-yellow colour and a caramel note on the nose coupled with toasty age development and notes of popcorn and vanilla. The palate is soft and rounded and ample, not all that refined, and shot through by an electric bolt of acid. The acid sits apart from the rest of the wine. It would be best served with a chill but, most importantly, with food. Huon Hooke
