Grown on old, own-rooted, and unirrigated vines planted between 1987 and 1993, this certified biodynamic release reflects the sub-alpine purity of its spectacular lakeside site. The 2023 vintage represents a highly detailed, non-interventionist expression, crafted with wild ferments and split evenly between neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks without added sulfur.

Pouring a crystalline pale gold, it casts off a remarkably singular bouquet where chalky, flinty minerality replaces typical varietal punchiness, unfolding with delicate notes of beeswax, pressed wildflowers, juniper, and white pepper.

On the palate, the wine reveals a medium-bodied profile defined by striking textural presence and deep savory layers derived from extended time on primary lees. Notes of citrus rind, grapefruit, and crisp white peach are braced by a fine line of natural acidity and stone-driven salinity.

The seamless, dry finish transitions into an impressive, tactile structure that completely redefines the variety.

Championing this release, Erin Larkin of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate highlighted its compelling, rustic grip, praising the wine's singular focus and noting, "I love the dried hay character here; it makes for a clothy, textural wine of presence and detail."
