Tasting Notes

Medium-deep red with a trace of purple in the rim; the bouquet suggests meaty, spicy, earthy/terracotta and forest underbrush nuances. Cranberry on the tongue. Full bodied and fleshy with good extract and plenty of firm tannin bringing on the finish and then a lingering aftertaste. A more savoury style of Barossa shiraz with earthy drying tannins and subtle richness. -95pts, Huon Hooke, The Real Review
