Tasting Notes

A much paler hue than Down the Hill, which isn’t surprising and it is lighter and more fragrant in a way. The fruit is destemmed yet it has an appealing bunchy character, tangy and juicy, too. An intriguing waft of mocha cream and hazelnut pops up, plus all sorts of cherry accents. It’s juicy and led by acidity with tannins in tow. - 93pts, James Halliday Wine Companion
