Deep red/purple colour and a strong note of oak on the first nose. It's intense and rich, full-bodied and at the same time retaining a touch of elegance. Good length and harmony. I like the structure and tension here, the line and length as well. It should reward cellar time. There's a touch of austerity to it on the day. A statuesque cabernet for the long-term. Huon Hooke
