This monumental Balnarring white wine redefines Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay through an ambitious, ultra-high-density viticultural lens. Born from volcanic basalt soils and sculpted by acclaimed winemaker Sandro Mosele, the 2024 vintage captures a season of extraordinary fruit concentration. An increased 85% malolactic fermentation instills a magnificent, creamy weight into the juice.

Pouring a bright mid-yellow colour, the wine reveals an intricate aromatic display of buttered crusty bread, croissant, shortbread, and underlying lemon and citrus intensity.

On the palate, a commanding core of stone fruit and pear is seamlessly anchored by a robust, architectural line of natural acidity and structural French oak.

The mouthfeel is intensely textural, persistent, and powerful yet elegant, culminating in a long finish packed with meticulous detail. Leading the critical praise, Huon Hooke of The Real Review awarded the vintage a stellar 97 points, celebrating it as a "very impressive Burgundy-style chardonnay" that brilliantly pairs great concentration of flavor with exceptional structural longevity.
