Tasting Notes

Roennfeldt Road, Marananga. A selection from different sections of the vineyard, combining own-rooted Shiraz planted between 1994 and 1999 across deep red-brown soils and crystalline quartz. Silky and inky, yet capable of remarkable floral detail and finesse over formidable power. In the cool, wet 2023 season, Larkin called the wine a testament to Standish's clarity of vision and awarded it 98 points.
