The 2024 GC Côte Vineyard Chardonnay is a sophisticated expression of Geelong’s Moorabool Valley, born from a growing season that yielded fruit of exceptional vibrancy and poise. Sourced from high-density plantings on the limestone-rich Côte Vineyard, this 100% Chardonnay reflects its volcanic terroir through a striking tension between richness and nerve.

On the nose, it reveals a multifaceted bouquet of white stone fruits, lemon pith, and delicate nutty undertones, all framed by a distinctive flinty mineral edge.

The palate is defined by its concentrated fruit core and an oily, mouth-coating texture that remains remarkably light on its feet due to a persistent saline acidity.

Huon Hooke identifies this vintage as a triumph of focus and energy, noting that the wine "has excellent concentration and vitality" while maintaining a tight, structural grip that carries through to a long, savoury finish.
