Defined by the cool, high-elevation terroir of Beechworth, the 2024 vintage emerged from a season of moderate temperatures that fostered exceptional aromatic intensity and structural precision.

This expression, crafted from clones 114 and MV6, presents a vibrant cherry-red hue and an immensely fragrant bouquet where wild raspberries and boysenberries intertwine with delicate florals and exotic cassia bark. One-third of the fruit underwent separate carbonic maceration before ten months of maturation in premium French oak, contributing to a multi-layered palate that balances fleshy red fruits with a refined, savory edge of forest floor.

The wine is remarkably poised, featuring a web of cashmere-fine tannins and a persistent, mineral-driven finish.

As noted by Huon Hooke of The Real Review, the wine possesses "almost Pommard-like detail and structure," reflecting a deceptive depth that continues to build in nuance long after the first sip.
